Brienz Rothorn
Brienz Rothorn is reached by one of the last steam-powered cogwheel railways still regularly operating in Switzerland, climbing from lake level at Brienz up to a rocky summit at over 2,300 meters with sweeping views over Lake Brienz, the Bernese Oberland peaks and, on clear days, as far as the Black Forest.
