Jeongnimsa Temple Site
Jeongnimsa Temple Site preserves the foundation stones and a surviving five-story stone pagoda from a major Baekje-era royal temple in Buyeo, the kingdom's last capital before its fall in 660 CE. The pagoda itself, one of only two surviving Baekje-era stone pagodas in Korea, is a masterwork of restrained, elegant proportion that later influenced Korean stone pagoda design broadly.
The surrounding grounds are otherwise open field marking where temple halls once stood, so this is a quieter, more contemplative stop than a fully reconstructed site — better appreciated with some background on Baekje history, ideally after or alongside a visit to the Buyeo National Museum.
