Haeundae Beach
Haeundae is Busan's flagship beach and one of Korea's most famous, a 1.5-kilometer arc of sand backed by a dense wall of high-rise hotels, the LCT Landmark Tower, and a busy promenade of restaurants and cafes. It's less a peaceful retreat than an urban beach experience — packed shoulder-to-shoulder in summer, but pleasant for a walk in other seasons.
The surrounding area has plenty to fill a day beyond the sand itself: the Blueline Park coastal train and Sky Capsule run along the coast toward Songjeong, and the Haeundae Traditional Market is a few minutes' walk inland.
