Turning Torso
Turning Torso is Scandinavia's tallest building, a 190-meter residential tower designed by Santiago Calatrava that twists 90 degrees from base to top, its nine cube-shaped segments visibly rotating as they rise. It's become Malmö's defining modern landmark and the centerpiece of Västra Hamnen, the redeveloped former shipyard district now known for sustainable architecture.
Because it's a working residential and office building, public access to the interior is limited — most visitors experience it from outside, ideally combined with a walk around Västra Hamnen's waterfront.
