Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary
Sultanpur National Park is a wetland bird sanctuary close to Delhi and Gurugram, hosting a wide range of resident and migratory bird species, including flamingos, cranes, and various waterfowl, particularly during the winter migration. Elevated watchtowers around the wetland give good vantage points for birdwatching without disturbing the birds.
It's one of the more convenient birdwatching destinations for anyone based in Delhi-NCR, given the relatively short drive, and it rewards a morning visit during the winter season when both bird numbers and variety are at their peak.
