Meriken Park is a harborfront park built partly on reclaimed land, home to Kobe Port Tower, the Kobe Maritime Museum, and a preserved section of quay damaged in the 1995 Great Hanshin earthquake, left visibly cracked as a memorial. It's a pleasant place to walk along the water and take in views of the harbor and surrounding towers.
