Kennedy Space Center

The Kennedy Space Center (KSC) is a spaceport in Florida, west of Cape Canaveral on Merritt Island. It is part of a region known as the "Space Coast", since most of the crewed United States spacecraft are launched from the Space Coast. It was built as the Moonport for Apollo missions, and has since hosted human spaceflight programs like Skylab, the Space Shuttle, SpaceX's Crew Dragon, and NASA's Artemis program.[Wikivoyage, CC BY-SA]
