Guindy National Park is one of the smallest national parks in India and unusual for being located within a major city, a patch of dry scrub forest housing blackbuck, spotted deer, and various bird species. It also includes a separate small snake park and a children's park within the same grounds.

Given its urban setting and modest size, it's more of a nature break than a wildlife safari experience, best suited to a couple of hours rather than a full excursion. It's a useful, low-effort stop if you want some greenery and a bit of wildlife without leaving the city.
