It's the obvious orientation point for the old town and works well as a base for a walking loop through Vieux-Lille, but there's no single interior to visit here — the square is valued for its architecture and role as the city's social hub, especially lively with café terraces in warmer months and around the Braderie de Lille flea market each September.
