Binnendieze
The Binnendieze is a network of small canals and covered watercourses that run partly underground beneath 's-Hertogenbosch's old town, remnants of the medieval defensive and drainage system built around the Dommel and Aa rivers. Flat-bottomed boat tours thread through open stretches and low stone tunnels, passing beneath houses and city walls in a way few other Dutch cities can match.
